Size-249
Paper and Rock (The Subsequent sets in the block) will both contain 145 cards.

As you Probably noticed, the Title Set (In this Case SOA) Is notably Smaller. Wizards Explains- "We have received a tremendous amount of feedback from fans that the volume of cards released each year is too high. After evaluating the set sizes, we have decided that card sets will be smaller than they have traditionally been." However, we at lotus Fields feel that bigger set sizes means more possibilities.

Rarity Layout-
Hyper Rares-15
Rare-53
Uncommon-60
Common-101
Basic Lands-20

"Mythic rare?" You wonder. Why Yes. An additional Rarity Level Has been added to the game. Mythic Rare cards will Usually be foil, and have a red rarity symbol. :o

Booster Packs will also contain- 1 Rare (or Mythic Rare in approximatly every eight packs) 3 Uncommons, 10 Commons, A Basic Land, And one Tip Card or Token.

A brand new product will replace Theme Decks- The Intro Pack, Which contains-
A 41 card deck, with one mythic rare and a normal rare
A Booster Pack
A Info foldout that will explain the set mechanics and info
An Insert of the rules of Magic the Gathering

The switch from theme deck to intro pack was made because wizards felt the Instruction free, rigid decks scared away new players.

To see examples of mythic rares and intro packs, check out our SOA preview sticky right under this one.
